About Attorney Lidia E. Serrano
Managing Partner
Lidia E. Serrano graduated from Chicago-Kent College of Law in May of 2001 and from DePaul University in June of 1996. Lidia first started her practice as an attorney in 2001 as an associate at a law firm in Aurora, Illinois. In January of 2003, Lidia established the firm of Aguiñaga & Serrano, which is now known as Serrano Hanson & Hurtado LLC. Lidia has grown the firm and practice to provide a wide range of services to their clients in the Fox Valley area. Lidia is proud of the service and representation she and her partners have offered over the years.
Lidia prides herself in providing her clients with a knowledgeable, honest, and fair assessment of their situation and zealous representation. Lidia understands that her clients must make difficult decisions while dealing with complex issues and emotions. As such, Lidia believes that the key to successful representation of her clients depends not only in her understanding of the issues, but her ability to help her clients navigate through them and through the process of the courts with the least amount of stress. Lidia considers it her privilege to be of service to her clients, her community, and the courts in helping them minimize the impact of disputes and litigation.
Lidia is fluent in English and Spanish, is a certified Guardian ad Litem in family and probate matters, Mediator in family and foreclosure matters, and a Parenting Coordinator in family matters. Lidia is an active member of the Kane County Bar Association and Association of Family & Conciliation Courts, Illinois Chapter serving as committee chair and board member of both organizations. Lidia is also a member of the American Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association, and DuPage Bar Association.
